Tradition hits the right note here where the spotlight is put on a majority of local produce, some of which comes from the restaurant’s own farms. The fine poultry that goes into a delicious vol-au-vent with crispy home fries is a case in point. The feirstengszalot salad is served with a light, well-balanced vinaigrette, in another nod to tradition and locavorism. It is impossible to leave without picking up some good bread from their bakery and some locally-sourced produce from their grocery store.
