When the Tricentenaire protected workshops came up with the idea of creating a chocolate factory to give people with disabilities the opportunity to roll up their sleeves again, even they didn’t expect to see the venture turn into such a success story. A triumph achieved by abiding by their principles and selecting only organic products sourced from fair trade, by bringing in master chocolate makers to oversee production and, finally, by boldly approaching some of the country’s best chefs to further extend their range. The result? Delectable chocolates and pralines, distributed nationwide and in their very own chocolate bar, an epicurean paradise where each creation can be tasted, including some pastries from our pastry chef of the year 2021.
