In an almost troglodyte atmosphere, the cave keepers welcome you to this typical Grund district house in the midst of the cobbled streets. Recommendations include top-flight natural and organic wines such as Tinus Pure, which can be mistaken for a great Burgundy, and with good reason: the winemaker is none other than Jean-Marie Guffens, named the world's greatest Chardonnay winemaker by the French press. A large glass of this ambrosia costs €10. A steal at the price. To soak it all up, the fare is also rustic and sourced from the region, with local beef carpaccios and platters of cheese and cold cuts.
