Belval may not be Osaka, but that doesn't stop Japanese flavours from finding their way here. At this typical Izakaya, the Japanese aubergines with dashi and dried bonito awakened our taste buds, while the chicken and shiso gyozas were a successful combination of these two ingredients. Despite the unexpected departure of chef Norihiro Imamura last year, Japanese ingredients and techniques still come together to create dishes that pack a punch, much to the delight of food lovers. As for drinks, the sake list will enthral all epicureans.
