This is traditional Portuguese cuisine at its best. It assumes its no-surprise approach to a panoply of classics, a feast of meats and cod prepared according to all the usual recipes. On the evening we visited, the copper Cataplana, to be shared with conviviality, not forgetting an apron, sent waves of pleasure through us with its sea bass, sea bream, salmon, squid, clams and shrimps served with potatoes and the ubiquitous peppers!
